Postpartum mothers

Our primary research with postpartum mothers is in breastmilk sampling research. These studies need healthy, lactating mothers to help test how a study drug might cross into the milk that they produce. Most of these studies are on treatments that are already approved and publicly available. They help determine if these treatments can be labeled for and used by new mothers around the world.

Other postpartum research focuses on healthy lactation and on physical and mental well-being of women following childbirth. Recovery from pregnancy and delivery involves hormonal, emotional, and physical changes.

We conduct clinical trials focused on improving treatments available to new mothers and to advance options in postpartum conditions. We’re proud of the accommodations and expertise that we have to offer study participants.

There are studies you can join — we’re still working to add them here. In the meantime, our team can help you explore all of them.
